Nearly $13M Available for Worker Safety & Training Grants

The Department of Labor is making $12.7 million available in Susan Harwood Training Grants to fund workplace safety education for workers and employers, with a focus on small businesses in high-risk industries. Grants fall into two categories: training programs on OSHA-designated hazards, and development of classroom-ready educational materials. Eligible applicants include nonprofits, labor unions, tribal organizations, colleges, and OSHA-affiliated entities, and the deadline to apply via Grants.gov is July 31, 2026.
