Lending Library
What is it?:
The ISPC Lending Library™ is a new way to train lineworkers that allows companies to receive the benefits of the T&D PowerSkills Lineman Training Program (see attached) without ownership. Here are some of the features:
- No large, upfront investment. An annual subscription fee and monthly usage charge is all that is required to have access to all 78 titles. Ideal for small apprenticeship programs.
- Train at your pace. The monthly usage fee is the same.
- No ‘per-student’ charge. Train as many employees as you wish.
- Trade out unit DVD’s whenever you are ready.
- You decide how many titles you need at any one time.
- Each unit comes with a DVD and Instructor’s Guide. Student Workbooks are priced separately.
How does it work?:
To be eligible for this Program you must be a member of the Institute for Safety in Powerline Construction (see Membership Information).
- If you are not already a member of the Association, you join.
- An annual ISPC Lending Library ™ subscription fee is paid, based upon the number of titles you wish to have, at any one time.
- A monthly fee is paid, based upon that number as well. When finished with a DVD, return it and request the next unit you wish to teach, along with the required number of Student Workbooks. You will be billed each month for the ‘usage fee’ and number of new workbooks sent, since the last billing.
- That’s it.
What does it Cost?:
- You must be an ISPC member to participate; this is a member benefit available to Association members only.

About T&D PowerSkills
This 78 title DVD & workbook program is a derivative product taken from Power-Masters, a CDROM based product created in the early 1990’s. Each title in the program has been updated to meet current Federal regulations. Additionally, both the videos and workbooks can now be customized.
New features to the program include Field Performance Reviews (FPR's) and OSHA regulation snap-shots. In the interest of standardization and teaching focused skill-sets, “career tracks” have been created for specific craft focuses. The updating process for the entire series is an ongoing commitment by ISPC/T&D PowerSkills.
